Why Semper Curious?

Semper Curious brings together learners and scholars to explore important areas of knowledge. Participants gain a multi-disciplinary perspective on our world in a congenial environment of curiosity and inquiry.

Topics

Semper Curious offerings span two broad subject categories: core disciplines & contemporary issues. Participants consider key concepts and methods and explore connections within and across these areas.

  •  Core disciplines. Essential fields of science, social science, and humanities. The goal is to cultivate interest and knowledge, for pleasure and personal growth.

  •  Contemporary issues. Complex questions affecting our daily lives: social trends, geopolitics, climate change, pandemics, advanced technologies. The goal is to move beyond news and opinion and explore issues critically, from a cross-disciplinary perspective.
