Like many educated adults, you enjoy learning for pleasure and enrichment. But immersed in the demands of daily life, without a suitable community and support systems — it’s hard to sustain true learning.
Semper Curious exists to support you. It’s a place where you can join other inquisitive adults to explore science, society, and the arts. The experience is substantive, yet informal and flexible.
How It Works
Semper Curious provides an interlocking set of materials and activities. These vary in topic, format, and duration, and in whether they’re experienced individually or with others. Taken together, they form natural pathways, blending learning and connection.
Topical Seminars
Our most popular format is the Topical Seminar. Each topic serves a dual purpose: (a) illuminate a question of general interest, and (b) introduce relevant concepts from a core discipline. Seminars include about an hour of background material and an hour of group discussion, led by university guest scholars.
